EuroSDR (European Spatial Data Research) is a research platform for national mapping agencies, academic institutes, the private sector, industry and user groups, concerned with the implementation of technology developments in the provision of national and European spatial data infrastructures vital to sustainable spatial planning and development.

EuroSDR was established as OEEPE (Organisation Européenne d’Etudes Photogrammétriques Expérimentales) by signature of the representatives of the governments of Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and The Netherlands on 12th October 1953. Its membership has steadily grown in the intervening fifty years and now numbers eighteen countries – membership being open to member states of the Council of Europe.
