ArcView Projekte auf CD brennen

Ich habe mit der Extension Archive Project (Project-PCv1.4, bei ESRI downloadbar) relativ gute Erfahrungen gemacht.

Anbei die Beschreibung von Esri

This extension is an adaptation of a similar extension written for ArcView-Unix by Jim Clarke for the U.S. Forest Service. It reads the project file for all data and extension references and copies the data and extensions to a designated target directory. The project file is also copied to the target directory with all paths re-written as relative paths. The target directory can then be moved to another location or to a CD and the project will still open. The extension will handle both shapefiles and images and Arc-Info coverages and Grids. The directory structure of the data sources is preserved in the target directory in order to eliminate conflicts between data sources with the same names coming from different locations. The extension uses DOS XCOPY commands to move files. On some systems, blanks used in directory names or filenames may cause files not to be copied. On some Windows 2000 systems, those DOS windows which require a user response do not display properly. This may cause the computer to hang or the tmp.apr file may not be copied over to the original project file name. You may be able to work around the problem by finding the DOS windows on the task bar and maximizing the windows. Version 1.4 has been modified to allow the substitution of shorter path names in the output directory. It also includes an option to skip the copying of image files.
